Saturday 22nd November 2008

Weekend murder mystery entitled;
'Blast from the Past'

“In 1990, record producer Marion Teague decided to create her own boy band. She set about finding four suitably talented young men, and the result was 4µla (pronounced "formula").

The band achieved limited success in the UK with only one top ten hit, but they were a great success in Europe; one of their greatest achievements was a remarkable five number ones in Finland.

Unfortunately, the pressure of success and touring (and the appearance of Take That) proved too much for the band and, after eighteen months, they split up.

A couple of months ago, Jeff Carter, the most successful ex-member of 4µla, died at the age of only 41. This revived interest in the band and what had happened to its members.

The loyal 4µla fan club has managed to get all the surviving members along to a special weekend in memory of Jeff. There is even talk of the band re-forming, but is it all just a blast of hot air?”
